Woodpeckers: Intelligent Design or "Evolution did it"?

Just a note: I know people come with this weird argument about the "God of Gaps" meaning that people say God made the world because we can't understand how it could come about without him. What these people don't realize is the logic involved. The same reasons you think a computer has to be made by someone and CANNOT have been made otherwise is the same reason people support Intelligent Design. It's not because we don't understand how it could have been done, its that we came to the logical conclusion that it had to be Designed as such. What I think when I hear this argument is that these people think the only possible explanation has to be naturalistic. Unfortunately for these people they might be dead before their naturalistic explanation is found (however retarded that explanation- because it has to be a reach of logic). Evolution is already too much of a stretch on logic.
